Outdoor Learning CPD twilight sessions for schools
Bespoke sessions to enhance your school’s outdoor delivery skills. A wonderful way to enhance your whole school approach to outdoor learning and to get some much needed outdoor wellbeing for your staff. We come to you after school with a campfire and hundreds of ideas for how you can take the curriculum and play into the natural environment. This can be tailored to suit your school site, focussing on particular curriculum areas or key stages or wider reaching themes such as play in the natural environment or pupil and staff wellbeing.
We often run CPD sessions at our sister training site Halkyn Castle Woods too. This year we are running a two-day course focussing on improving numeracy skills and wellbeing through play in nature. This is free for KS1 & 2 TAs working in Flintshire settings. Anyone else who wants to book on, please contact us for details. This training is designed to complement the Community Focussed Schools project and empower TAs with additional skills and knowledge to help children and their families.
